Dr. Suzuki\u00a0developed his method based on recreating, as much as possible, the\u00a0conditions involved in learning to speak.<\/p>\n<p>The primary aim of the Suzuki philosophy is to enrich children\u2019s lives\u00a0through the joy of music. Students build self-esteem, confidence in meeting\u00a0new challenges, self-discipline, and concentration. Students listen daily to recordings of the repertoire, and initially\u00a0begin to play by ear, with reading postponed until aural and instrumental\u00a0skills are well established.
