Here are some pictures from a little flute demo at the Music Together class at Upper Valley Music Center this past Tuesday! Katie Kitchel is the inspiring teacher – and the “big bell of Westminster” donging to the side above and left!
I played a few songs they had enjoyed in their classes and they accompanied me on percussion for this one!

And a bit on this “Prodigy” model flute designed with pre-school kids in mind – it belonged to one of my kids many years ago and has gotten much use from students since then – but still sounds very sweet! They’ve structured it so the length of the resonating air space is the same, and with the same quality workmanship as any student flute. I played a few tunes on this one, with some accompanying (above), moving, and dancing (below) from the kids.
