One of the great things about being in the wedding business in Vermont is being part of a large network of energetic and talented people who love what they do, and who support one another as well as the couples we serve, to make everything we do greater than the sum of the parts. (For more thoughts on this topic, you may wish to pick up the latest edition of Vermont Bride Magazine and check out my current article).

Last summer, photographer Ellen Ross got the idea of creating a “faux wedding” – getting a bunch of wedding venders and “faux” brides and groom together at Boyden Farm for the purpose of having fun and snapping a bunch of pictures for everyone. With the wonders of facebook, the wedding was quickly assembled, with Jackie Watson of Vermont Enchanted Events stepping up with efficient and energetic coordination of venders, models, clothing, and much more. With events like this, the depth of the joy we can all share – together – with Vermont couples is really magnified! I thought I’d share a few of the awesome photos from this event.
